Mehnati is an online platform dedicated to raising awareness about vocational and technical education in Lebanon. This website introduces academic school students to the aspects of vocational education and guides them through the process of career development, by assessing their skills and helping them explore their career path, develop their abilities, as well as plan for their future. On the other hand, "Mehnati" is a platform directed to all TVET graduates and professionals in Lebanon, to help them develop their skills and prepare to enter the labor market, and plan for their careers. This platform serves SDA and IECD projects in general.
The IECD is an international solidarity organisation, which operates in 18 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, the MENA region, the Indian Ocean and South-East Asia.
Since its creation in 1988, the IECD has pursued it mission in the field to sow seeds of hope. Semeurs d’Avenir is a Lebanese non-governmental organization founded in 2010 with the support of the European Institute for Cooperation and Development (IECD). Established to sustain and expand IECD’s initiatives, it serves as the main partner of IECD in Lebanon. Through its action, Semeurs d’Avenir implements projects in vocational training and professional integration, entrepreneurship, education, agriculture, healthcare, and heritage preservation.
By working closely with local communities, private sector partners, and public institutions, the organization empowers youth and vulnerable groups, strengthens employability, and contributes to Lebanon’s social and economic development.
