There is no weak person; there is someone who does not know the source of his strength.

Many people are aware of the need for ongoing self-improvement but have a vague concept of inner strength, where often the emphasis is placed on external factors. True sometimes external factors play a major role on how we feel, think and behave, yet inner strength  doesn’t depend on the actions of anyone else,   what is sure, concrete and solid that strength comes from within; it’s a deep, unstoppable belief in yourself.

Inner strength is about motivation and inner-drive, it refers also to a set of talents and skills that allows you to survive and succeed in your environment. It also involves a particular mindset that drives you to pursue growth, innovation, and excellence.

We know for a fact that life is made up of ups and downs. Some day you enjoy moments of peace and success and the next you find yourself facing a challenging situation that you were not ready for. So, the only option left is to discover the inner strength we need to develop resilience in the face of difficulty, rise up from challenges and trials with greater determination to achieve personal growth.

  • Practice empowering rituals; Use positive daily affirmation (for example, I am beautiful, I am capable, I am smart, etc…) this dynamic technique helps you adjust your mindset and set the tone for your day.
  • Practice self-awareness; Self-awareness signifies the first step in building inner strength. by taking the time to discover your talents, skills, weaknesses, limits, and aspirations, you will gain a better understanding of yourself and this is true power.
  • Train your mind; your mind is stronger than you think and it will give you what you need, when you need it, if you feed it the right mindset. Change the script in your mind and only allow constructive thoughts.
  • Stay connected to your purpose; Purpose is a component of inner strength, when you remain connected with, inner strength naturally follows.
  • Replace your “should” into “must:” when it comes to living the life of you desire, every single step you need to take to get there is a “must.”
  • Focus on the present and let go of the past: don’t feed yourself with disempowering stories of past mistakes and failures. “Where focus goes, energy flows,” put your focus on the present, and the future while using your WILL Power.
  • Invest in your skills; Apart from the talents you are born with, you need to invest in your skills and abilities. You will need both personal and professional skills, given that inner power impacts your work as much as it impacts your personal life.
  • Use your energy wisely; Decide, commit, and act, let your energy serve you the best and keep in mind that wishes change nothing, decisions change nothing, only actions change everything.
  • Embrace what scares you; prove to yourself that you can take on massive challenges, which will increase your confidence and inner strength, but be aware of the risks factors.
  • Understand that your choices define your life: You don’t have to let your circumstances define you, people with inner strength face tough decisions and use them to become stronger.
  • Surround you self with like-minded people; inner strength requires a growth-oriented mindset.You need to spend your time with people who appreciate you for who you are but also ‘push’ you to overcome self-imposed limits and reinvent yourself constantly.
  • Be flexible and open yourself to new experiences; Inner strength involves mental resilience and flexibility. Involve yourself in new activities and give yourself the freedom to experiment and learn from diversity, that’s might be exciting, inspiring, and insightful.

  • What are 3 strengths you are aware about?
  • What are you proud of in your life? What do you like about yourself?
  • What do you do better than others?
  • What do you enjoy or love doing?( we usually enjoy what we’re  good at)
  • What small things you do that you find extremely satisfying? What strengths could this point to?
  • Which strengths helped you along the way?
  • When have you felt most energized? What where you doing?
  • What you get complimented on? What could be the strengths that lie underneath?
  • What do your friends admire in you? What do you get asked to support with?

 

You will be amazed by the traits you will discover, you just need to ask.
