On the 22nd of September, a general meeting event was conducted for the guidance and employment officers at Beirut Digital District to revive and reinforce their network.

Eighteen officers from diverse regions and technical institutes participated. The event kicked off with speeches by the Director of IECD and an HR representative from the CMA CGM company who expressed their interest and encouragement for continuous technicians’ recruitment. Team building activities followed, along with a mental health session by an expert trainer.

After that, GET team showed a presentation about the GEOs role and their achievements since 2014, then, GEOs were divided into groups and worked together to formulate their ideas and perspectives on their job description, key performance indicators, and other topics related to their role.

The event ended with a presentation and demonstration on Mehnati as a new tool for the GEOs to use and with a distribution of the GEOs manual prepared by GET team, which represents a handbook for all the information revolving around the GEO role.
