We are excited to share the “Youth Empowerment & Guidance” initiative, designed to advocate for technical education among academic students and facilitate job matching for technical students and graduates. This activity includes tailored sessions for Grade 9 and Grade 12 students in academic schools, as well as BT3, TS, and LT students in technical institutes.
Organized by IECD in collaboration with its local partner Semeurs d’Avenir (SDA), and co-funded by the AICS-Italian Agency for Cooperation and Development and IF, with support from the MEHE and DGTVET in Lebanon, this initiative aims to provide orientation for academic students and specialized guidance for technical students.
EmployAbility leads the organization and coordination of the activity, supported by 15 Guidance and Employment Officers across Lebanon. The sessions were conducted in 19 academic and technical schools, reaching 988 academic students and 231 technical students across 5 regions in Lebanon, between March 2024 and May 2024.
This initiative equips academic students with essential tools, information, and support for their academic journey while offering tailored guidance to meet the specific vocational and technical training needs of technical students.
